Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Neuro/Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Perform neurological assessments and document findings accurately in the patient record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in a Neuro or Telemetry nursing setting
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a neurological or stroke unit setting
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring equipment and interpretation
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in an acute care environment
