ANESTHESIA TECHNICIAN - OPERATING ROOM

Job ResponsibilitiesSet-up, operate and troubleshoot anesthesia machines, monitors, and ancillary devicesAssist licensed anesthesia provider with routine and difficult proceduresPrepare appropriate sterile supplies, sterile field, and have knowledge of medicationsMaintain, re-order, and re-stock anesthesia supplies and equipmentParticipate in efficient case turnovers, cleaning of anesthesia equipment, and preparation of Operating Rooms prior to each surgical procedureRequirementsEducation: High School Diploma or EquivalentRequired Experience: 1 – 2 years of experience (preferred but not required)Licensure/Certification/ Registration: American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians within 2 years of employment and CPR certification; Certified Nursing Assistant certification required, or obtained within 6 months of hirePopulations Served:While performing this job, the employee may care for patients in the following age groups.Neonate ( 60 years)While performing this job, the employee does not care for patients in the following age groups.No direct responsibility to treat or care for patientsServes patients in areas other than direct patient care #J-18808-Ljbffr
