About Us
We are a high-performance surveying firm specializing in construction stakeout, boundary surveys, and as-builts.
We use modern Trimble robotic equipment and expect our field leaders to operate independently, efficiently, and with precision.
Position Overview
We are seeking a top-level Party Chief who can take full ownership of field operations—from control setup to final deliverables—without supervision.
This is not an entry-level leadership role. We need someone who can step in, take charge, and execute at a high level from day one.
Requirements
- 5+ years of field experience (3+ years as Party Chief preferred)
- Expert with Trimble robotic total stations
- Strong command of Trimble Access workflows
- Working knowledge of Carlson Survey
Ability to independently perform:
- Complex construction stakeout (buildings, utilities, site development)
- Boundary surveys with sound field judgment
- As-built surveys with clean, accurate data output
- Strong understanding of control, coordinate systems, and tolerances
- Ability to identify and resolve plan or control discrepancies in real time
- Demonstrated leadership managing field crews
Responsibilities
- Operate independently as a one-man field operation
- Execute precise and efficient construction layout
- Verify control and troubleshoot issues independently
- Communicate directly with contractors, project managers, and office staff
- Deliver high-quality field data with minimal rework
