Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critical patients in the ICU setting, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex patient needs and support positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor IV drips, including sedation and vasoactive agents.
• Respond to rapid response calls and codes, supporting emergency interventions.
• Maintain patient records accurately in the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Assess patient conditions continuously and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, charge nurses, and other staff regarding patient status.
• Support unit protocols for infection control, safety, and equipment management.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required; PALS and TNCC preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year ICU experience, specifically with ventilated patients and IV pump management.
• Ability to respond swiftly to emergent situations and work effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must meet all background check requirements and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have approved religious or medical exemptions.
