Unit Overview Medical Oncology is a great unit to expand your nursing career because of our diverse patient population caring for oncology patients. The unit fosters growth and development, promotes a culture of self‑care, mutual care, and care of patients and their families. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience. Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in Indiana listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). Recent oncology experience is strongly preferred. Two years of ICU or Med/Surg experience is strongly preferred. Minimum of one year of inpatient RN experience is required. Why Community?
