Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP licensure in Alabama or eligibility to obtain
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are welcome
• Experience in a school-based setting is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluate students with speech, language, and communication concerns
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
• Provide direct and consultative therapeutic services to students
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary team discussions
• Engage families and teachers to ensure carryover of therapy strategies
