Key Responsibilities Verify incoming materials against purchase orders for accuracy and damage. Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and creating shipping documents. Load and unload trucks safely using appropriate material handling equipment. Maintain accurate inventory records of all incoming and outgoing materials. Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations. Coordinate with production and procurement teams to ensure timely material flow. Operate forklifts and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Recommended Qualifications High school diploma or GED 2+ years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred) Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physical tasks as required Bonus Qualifications Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management. Forklift certification with experience operating various lift types. Familiarity with hazardous material handling and shipping regulations (e.g., DOT, IATA). Proficiency in using scanning and barcode technology for inventory tracking. Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application in warehouse operations.
