Originate mortgage loans in an assigned non-bank territory Take mortgage loan applications Conduct preliminary underwriting reviews Submit loan applications to processing and underwriting for approval Follow up to secure documents required for processing, underwriting, and closing Make and solicit loan sales Conduct sales-related activities away from U.S. Bank locations Spend at least 50% of work time conducting activities away from U.S. Bank locations Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Three or more years of experience in mortgage, sales, or real estate National Mortgage Licensing Service (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z Ongoing compliance with all legal or regulatory registration requirements Maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record Thorough knowledge of pricing and underwriting requirements of various mortgage insurance companies Working knowledge of underwriting requirements for FNMA,
