Transactional/Corporate Paralegal

Chaffe McCall, a highly regarded regional law firm, is seeking a transactional/corporate paralegal with at least three years of commercial real estate transaction experience to join our New Orleans office. The ideal candidate will have experience with due diligence, title review, and closing procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a background as a closing professional or title processor who is looking to transition into a law firm environment. Responsibilities Prepare, review, and coordinate leases, amendments, assignments, and related leasing documentation. Support attorneys throughout all phases of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, due diligence, dispositions, refinancing, and closings. Form limited liability companies, corporations, and partnerships, including the preparation and filing of required state and federal documents. Assist with all aspects of closing coordination, including preparation of closing binders, document execution, notarization, recording, and file maintenance. Organize and maintain both physical and electronic files. Monitor key deadlines and closing requirements to help ensure timely completion of transactions. Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. At least two years of transactional paralegal experience, preferably in commercial real estate. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
