The following is a list of types of surgeries/procedures performed: Orthopedic, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Obstetrics/gynecology, Ear/Nose/Throat, Urology, General surgery, and Endoscopy.
Assists surgeon as scrub nurse according to prescribed standards.
Assists in the surgical team as 2nd circulator when directly supervised by a Registered Professional Nurse who is functioning as the 1st circulator.
Assists in housekeeping duties and cleanliness of the department as directed to ensure safe patient environment.
The Speare Surgical Services Unit consists of 2 Operating Rooms and 1 Endoscopy Suite.
40-50 cases per week
Cases per day vary due to service line: 1-4 or 5-12 Endos
Variety is great for that traveler who prefers to do something different every day!


Covid vaccine not required but is recommended (if offered, facility would like proofs if available for governmental reporting purposes only).
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of previous Surg Tech experience - Required
Must be able to scrub all routine and emergent cases in Ortho, General, Endoscopy, Sports Medicine, Gynecological, and C-Sections - Required
MUST HAVE CATARACT AND TOTAL JOINT EXPERIENCE - PLEASE NOTE PROFICIENCY ON PROFILE
Critical Care Access Hospital experience - Required
Must be OK to assist with duties in Decontam, Sterile Processing, and Endoscopy - Required
NBSTSA certification or military with 10 years experience - Required
