Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Develops and implements activities programs to meet the needs of the memory care residents in the facility, based on needs assessment, resident interests and functioning ability, and objectives of the activitiesEnsures activities are appropriate for and meets the engagement needs of residents with Alzheimer's disease and dementiaAssesses and arranges for one to one programming for those individuals who cannot attend group activitiesResponsible for the activity documentation being completed in a timely fashionCompletes and maintains inventory lists in accordance to established budgetEvaluates recreation areas and services to determine if they are producing desired resultsOversees, trains, and schedules part time staff as needed who assist with programming events/functionsRelates to residents, family members, public and professionals appropriatelyReports any issues or problems that may arise to the AdministratorComplies with state, federal, and all other applicable health care and safety standardsAssists families and other visitors as neededPerforms other duties as directedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.Basic knowledge of Alzheimer's disease and related dementia2-3 years of gerontological experience preferredLife Enrichment/Activity Director Certified and previous long-term care experience preferredMust have a clean driving record and be able to drive a large resident passenger vehicleCPR and First Aid Certification preferredPriority Life Care provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.$53000 / year#PLC1
