Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, flexible 8-hour days, start time between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, 35 guaranteed work week

Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care
• Develop appropriate plans of care following all regulatory and clinical standards
• Administer procedures including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments to ensure optimal outcomes
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
• Document all treatments and maintain patient records accurately in the electronic system
• Supervise and support physical therapist assistants, aides, and students

Qualifications

• Active Missouri Physical Therapy License (or ability to obtain)
• At least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist (new grads with Level II clinical experience welcome)
• Experience in Long-Term Care or Rehabilitation settings
• Ability to commute to Lewistown, MO and start on schedule

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
• Knowledge of LTC and rehab best practices
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Proficiency with electronic health records
• Understanding of APTA and state practice acts
