About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room / Circulate Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift + On-call Hours per Shift: 36 hours guaranteed Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room Circulate role - Neuro experience preferred Description: This position involves managing approximately 120 cases per month. The cases include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Total Joints, Podiatry, Client (including C-sections), Endoscopy, Neurosurgery, Robotics, ENT, and Cataracts. The equipment used includes Hana Tables, Stryker, Arthrex, and Medacta. Candidates should be aware that shifts may be canceled up to 3 times during the contract. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM. Staff are expected to be on call for 7 to 10 days per month, with call hours from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM. On-call duties include weekends as assigned. A flu vaccine is required with no exceptions. Candidates must reside outside a 100-mile radius from the facility. Only 3 days of requested time off are allowed per 13-week contract. The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts during the assignment, impacting guaranteed hours.
