Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics and/or food and nutrition that meets or exceeds the requirement by the American Dietetic Association for the registration examination. [REQUIRED]
• Successful completion of internship or coordinated undergraduate program that meets the American Dietetic Association guidelines. [REQUIRED]

License(s)/Certification(s)

• Registration or registration eligible with the Commission on Dietetic Registration [REQUIRED]
• Licensed or licensed eligible with the State of Iowa [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
• Current CPR/BCLS certification [REQUIRED]
• Maintains current Adult Mandatory Reporter status [PREFERRED]
• Maintains American National Standards Institute accredited food protection/safety certification (i.e. ServSafe Food Protection Manager/Certified Food Safety Manager) or obtained within 90 days for new hire. [PREFERRED]
• Valid driver’s license [REQUIRED]
• Valid Auto insurance [REQUIRED]

• BCLS
• CPR
• Registered Dietitian Certification
