Nuclear Medicine Specialist, PRN Location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker, Plano, TX 75093 Hours: PRN, Days Department Highlights Small team Basic nuclear exams High volume of cardiac exams Responsibilities Explain procedures to patients or guardians/family members prior to exams Position patients to the correct anatomical area of interest Perform complex procedures, considering age‑related criteria and developmental factors Adjust technique parameters appropriately for age‑related factors Assist radiologists with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique Maintain attention to detail Process and manipulate images; analyze image quality, troubleshoot, adjust technique, or repeat procedures as needed Utilize proper downtime procedures for PACS and HIS/RIS systems Send and transfer images to PACS correctly Print laser images, CD, or send images from modality, Ambra, or PACS Coordinate with scheduling and other modalities for patient care Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or nuclear medicine (required) Associate’s degree (preferred) 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine (preferred) ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Nuclear Medicine) upon hire required CNMT – Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist upon hire required CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (TDH or TMB) upon hire required BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to independent patient care and maintained quarterly (required) Benefits 401(k) plan Paid time off (PTO) Medical and dental coverage Paid parental leave Flexible spending account (FSA) Tuition reimbursement Student loan repayment program On‑site childcare center for working parents #J-18808-Ljbffr
