Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory Therapy (Night Shift)ARMStaffing is looking for a Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory Therapy (Night Shift) in Flint, Michigan.LocationFlint, MIAssignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.Schedule/ShiftNight shift, 3x12.0 hours.Job DescriptionThe Respiratory Therapist provides quality patient care through the management of airways, ventilators, BiPAPs, and heated high flows. The role involves evaluating patients and recommending appropriate treatment plans while operating various types of ventilatory equipment and conducting physician-prescribed treatments.ResponsibilitiesManage and operate Puritan Bennett 840 ventilators, Philips V60 BiPAPs, and Opti-Flow heated high flows.Conduct chest physiotherapy and suctioning by various methods (oropharyngeal, nasal, and tracheal).Perform oximetry and capnography monitoring.Review patients' chest X-rays and conduct 12-lead EKGs with basic arrhythmia recognition.Assist in respiratory care procedures including bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, and tracheostomy care.Document all treatments and patient responses, ensuring accuracy in patient records.Collaborate with attending and pulmonary physicians on the efficiency of therapy.Required ExperienceExperience with managing airways, ventilators, BiPAPs, and heated high flows.Proficient in using Puritan Bennett 840 ventilators, Philips V60 BiPAPs, and Opti-Flow heated high flows.Certifications/LicensureCurrent Respiratory Therapist license as required by the state.BLS and ACLS certifications.About ARMStaffingFounded in 2011 and a member of the ARGroup, LLC, ARMStaffing connects dedicated nurses and allied health professionals with the facilities that need them most.
