Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference by providing essential support as a Special Education Teacher in a dedicated school setting near York, PA. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work onsite, contributing your expertise during an Extended School Year (ESY) assignment—with the potential for continuing into the 26/27 school year. Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Previous experience working with students with special needs preferred
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, nurturing classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction in accordance with IEP goals and student needs
• Utilize differentiated teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learners
• Monitor student progress and update documentation as required
• Collaborate with general education staff, paraprofessionals, and related services
• Engage with families to support student development and maintain open communication

Assignment Details:

• Onsite at a reputable learning center
• ESY session: Staff inservice on 7/7/26; student instructional days 7/8/26 through 7/30/26 (Monday through Thursday)
• Daily schedule during ESY: Approximately 8:15 a.m.–11:45 a.m.
• Opportunity to extend into 26/27 school year, with hours of 7:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m.
