Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. This position will focus on providing high-quality patient care in the operating room environment, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout their surgical experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Coordinate with surgical teams to facilitate efficient surgical flow and patient care.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in patient condition.
• Ensure compliance with sterile techniques and safety protocols.
• Participate in patient education and support pre-surgical and post-surgical care efforts.
• May be required to float to similar units as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state nursing license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• A minimum of one year of experience in an operating room setting is required.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Work Schedule

This position requires a day shift of 8-hour blocks, typically from 06:45 to 15:15. A weekend commitment of one Saturday shift every six weeks is required, along with one on-call shift within a six-week rotation.
