Candidate Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home care
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment
• Collaborate with the rehab team to optimize patient outcomes
• Adapt techniques to meet each patient's unique needs and abilities

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Valid New Mexico PTA license in hand
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• At least 1 year of recent PTA experience preferred but new grads encouraged to apply
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in a variety of rehabilitation techniques and modalities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow detailed treatment instructions
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
• Time management and organizational skills
