Job Description
- Create Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patient needs and design personalized treatment strategies that assist them in achieving their goals.
- Implement Healing Therapies: Apply evidence-based techniques to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily activities.
- Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Actively collaborate with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure a comprehensive and holistic level of care.
- Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their caregivers about therapy methods to encourage progress at home.
- Track Progress and Adjust Care: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on their path to recovery.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Continued education and postgraduate certifications are welcomed and supported.
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must.
- A genuine passion for aiding others to achieve their optimum level of independence.
- Empathetic and articulate communication with both patients and team members.
- Ability to creatively resolve challenges and adjust therapy to meet the diverse needs of clients.
- Confidence in working both independently as well as collaboratively within a tight-knit, multidisciplinary team.
