We are seeking an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist to join our busy medical massage facility, specializing in providing therapeutic medical massages for veterans. This role offers $40 per 60-minute session with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm, and Saturday from 9:30am-1pm. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality care while collaborating with medical staff to support veteran health and wellness.
Responsibilities
- Perform medical massage therapy tailored to veteran clients
- Conduct client assessments to determine therapeutic needs
- Apply effective therapeutic massage techniques
- Document treatments and progress accurately
- Ensure sanitation compliance within the facility
- Manage appointments and communicate effectively with patients
- Collaborate closely with medical staff to optimize patient care
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in massage therapy
- Certification in Massage Therapy
- Proficient in medical massage techniques
- Strong client assessment and therapeutic communication skills
- Effective time management abilities
- Adherence to sanitation and hygiene standards
- Excellent customer service skills
