LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Duties

You will serve as the acknowledged expert for logistics support related to the assigned aircraft or engine and acts as a representative of the NAVAIR PSM/APML for matters relating to acquisition, sustainment, and performance-based logistics.

You will be responsible for the delegated Program Office for all acquisition and in-service support requirements affecting aircraft/engine acquisition and operations.

You will assess program documentation, system designs, and aircraft/engine system interfaces for logistics considerations.

You will review acquisition planning and procurement documents to ensure integration of systems command policies, procedures, contract provisions and contract data requirements for ILS and related programs.

You will identify aircraft/engine ILS program planning and execution problems.

You will participate as logistics representative on source selection committees, evaluate proposals submitted and provide detailed recommendations to the cognizant authority.
