Senior Battlespace Awareness Analyst

Responsibilities Provide Battlespace Awareness (BA) expertise and direct counsel to senior‑level leadership to support the U.S. Warfare (I&S) management of the BA Portfolio. Review and evaluate existing and planned ISR and environmental systems, processes and programs across the DoW and IC to ensure the BA Portfolio is optimized for operational warfighter, acquisition community, and senior policy maker needs. Produce deliverables including, but not limited to, guidance for initial binning; data collection and management strategies; assessment of tools and repositories; creation of business rules and entry/exit criteria; and corporate review and evaluation criteria. Analyze and evaluate large data sets, developing data analytics and visualization tools to view trends, identify anomalies, and provide data‑informed assessments, reporting, oversight, and decision‑making. Develop, update, and maintain general and specialized data‑analytic dashboards to promote timely and effective capabilities‑based decisions across the BA capability portfolio management (CPM) and other DoW Mission Areas or IC. Conduct research and analysis; draft formal positions; review and analyze documents; prepare briefs, talking papers, memoranda, and letters to form OSW staff packages, ensuring compliance with OSW policies. Manage electronic file management on multiple systems (NIPR, SIPR, JWICs) following NARA rules for file retention and management. Other duties as assigned Qualifications TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Minimum 5 years supporting battlespace awareness programs within the DoW. Good communication skills; self‑starter mindset. Professional proficiency in English. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications. Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis; this position does not sponsor work visas. Work Environment Moderate noise (business office with computers, phone, and printers) and/or occasional loud noise (airfield, large equipment). Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Physical Demands Ability to sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer.
