• Schedule: Weekend coverage for September: 9/4-9/6, 9/11-9/13, 9/18-9/20, 9/25-9/27
• Job Setting: Hospital - Community Health Systems, Trauma Level 4
• Patient Encounters Per Shift: 1-3
• Beds in Department: 4
• Types of Cases:
  • General Surgery (Adult) - Required
  • Laparoscopic Surgery - Required (Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Hernioplasty, Nissen Fundoplication)
  • Head/Neck Surgery (including thyroid) - Required
  • Chest Wall/Pleural Procedures - Required
  • Breast Surgery - Required
  • GI Endoscopy (Upper & Lower, including Sigmoidoscopy and Colonoscopy) - Required
  • Hand Surgery - Required
  • Vascular Surgery - Required
  • Ventilation Management - Required
  • Chest Tube Insertion - Required
  • Central Line Insertion - Required
  • Trauma Surgery - Preferred
  • Minor Orthopedics - Preferred
  • Pacemaker Implantation - Required
• Credentialing: Estimated 3 days

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Not required
• Certifications: ACLS Required
• Fellowship: Required (Level 2)
