Service Manager

Service Manager – Rental Facility, Laredo, TX The Service Manager will lead a team of Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technicians to deliver efficient, reliable service for both company and customer-owned rental equipment. The role includes scheduling repairs, managing work orders, training staff, and maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring safety and quality standards. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00AM – 5:00PM Primary Responsibilities Use our tech platform to create, assign, and monitor work orders and track service intervals. Order parts and diagnose issues quickly by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models. Coordinate and supervise quality performance of mechanics and service personnel. Schedule repairs for customer and company-owned rental equipment. Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships, ensuring 100% satisfaction and keeping customers informed of new or additional services. Respond promptly to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints and other communications. Train and develop employees and maintain a safe work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications Industry knowledge in the rental or construction field and at least three years of maintenance and service experience. Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving, and customer‑service skills. Adaptability to a fast‑paced growth environment and self‑driven learning of new products and services. Team‑oriented mindset with preference for those with construction industry background. Superior verbal and written communication skills. Education and Experience High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred. Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred. Experience leading maintenance teams. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle. Physical Requirements Must be able to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely.
