Assessing and treating employees with occupational injuries and illnesses???? Administering immunizations, TB testing, drug and alcohol screenings, and other occupational health services???? Performing pre-employment, annual, and regulatory health screenings???? Communicating with employers, referring providers, Third Party Administrators (TPAs), and Case Managers while maintaining patient confidentiality???? Assisting with Workers' Compensation case coordination and return-to-work processes????️ Supporting compliance with OSHA regulations, Illinois Workers' Compensation requirements, DOT regulations, and infection prevention standards???? Collaborating with providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, high-quality patient care????️ Maintaining accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)❤️ Providing exceptional customer service while promoting a positive experience for employees and employer partnersWhat We're Looking ForRegistered Nurse (RN)✔ Current Illinois Registered Nurse License required✔ Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or RN with a bachelor's degree in a health-related field or Business Administration required✔ Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN or COHN-S) preferredLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN)✔ Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program✔ Current Illinois Licensed Practical Nurse License requiredQualifications for Both Roles✔ Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required✔ Previous occupational health, employee health, ambulatory care, urgent care, or outpatient clinic experience preferred✔ Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, Illinois Workers' Compensation, DOT regulations, drug and alcohol screening, and case management preferred✔ Knowledge of infection prevention practices and vaccine administration preferred✔ Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills✔ Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently in a fast-paced clinical environmentWhy Your Work MattersHealthy employees build healthy communities.As an Occupational Health Nurse, you'll help employees return to work safely, support local businesses, prevent workplace injuries, and promote healthier workplaces throughout our region.
