Chemical Operator (2nd & 3rd Shift) – $20/hr – Taylors, SC

Location: Taylors
Pay: Starting at $20/hour
Schedule: 2nd Shift & 3rd Shift Available
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

A chemical manufacturer in Taylors is seeking reliable, safety-focused Chemical Operators for 2nd and 3rd shift . This is a great opportunity for candidates with chemical processing experience who want a long-term career with a stable company.

We’re looking for team members who can safely handle chemicals, monitor production processes, and maintain quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment
• Measure, mix, and transfer raw materials according to production formulas
• Follow all safety procedures , PPE requirements, and chemical handling protocols
• Monitor gauges, temperatures, pressures, and production output
• Complete production logs, batch records , and required documentation
• Perform quality checks to ensure product specifications are met
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or production problems to supervisors

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chemical Operator for a minimum of 6 months
• Ability to safely work around chemicals and follow strict safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
