About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Pending state license accepted Certifications: ACLS; PALS; BLS Must-Have: National certifications required, previous charge experience preferred Description: Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) needed for a night shift. The schedule is 3x12 hours from 7 PM to 7 AM on weekdays, with some weekend shifts required. Floating within the facility is expected to meet needs, as required. Types of cases include critical care and general care for adults and/or pediatrics. National certifications required are BLS, ACLS, and PALS. First-time travelers are accepted, and weekend shifts are required. Candidates may be required to complete a fit test using one of the approved masks. Traveling up to 100 miles for the fit test may be necessary. A minimum of two managerial or charge references from the past two years is required. Candidates are encouraged to submit their profiles thoroughly, including work history and skills checklist. Documentation must be complete for approval prior to the start date. Candidates must have a permanent address within a specified radius of the facility. Previous probationary actions on a license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Candidates must be willing to comply with vaccination requirements. A comprehensive understanding of adult critical care, including various respiratory procedures, is essential. Charting experience in electronic medical records is necessary.
