The group is recognized as a premier source of leadership talent and a valuable pipeline for future enterprise leaders. Retail Strategy & Analytics serves two primary functions:Supporting strategic decision-making, business planning, and operational priorities for the Retail Leadership TeamDelivering analytical insights and business performance reporting for senior leadershipThis opportunity is within the Retail Strategy function, where projects focus on growth strategy, market assessments, competitive analysis, operating model design, organizational effectiveness, M&A evaluations, and enterprise transformation initiatives.What You'll DoAs a Manager, Retail Strategy, you will lead strategic initiatives from problem definition through executive recommendation while partnering closely with senior leaders across the Retail organization.Responsibilities include:Leading high-priority strategy projects and critical business initiatives from inception through implementation planningFraming complex business challenges and developing fact-based strategic recommendationsConducting and overseeing rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysesEvaluating market trends, competitive dynamics, and business performance data to inform decision-makingDeveloping executive-ready presentations and storytelling that influence leadership decisionsBuilding partnerships and alignment across cross-functional stakeholdersCoaching and providing guidance on analytical workstreams and project deliverablesTranslating ambiguity into structured, actionable plans that drive measurable business outcomesServing as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on strategic priorities and organizational decisionsLeveraging AI and productivity tools to enhance research, analysis, and deliverable qualityWhat you haveRequired QualificationsApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.3-6 years of full-time experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, financial services, investment banking, or a related strategic business functionProven experience leading or supporting complex strategic problem-solving initiativesExperience framing business questions, developing hypotheses, and creating strategic recommendationsStrong analytical skills, including both quantitative and qualitative analysisExperience developing and delivering executive-ready presentations and communicationsDemonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions and organizational levelsStrong interpersonal, relationship building, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work effectively in dynamic, fast-paced environments with evolving prioritiesProficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and ExcelExperience utilizing AI and productivity tools to improve efficiency, research, analysis, and deliverable qualityStrong interest in financial services and alignment with Schwab's values and client-first culturePreferred QualificationsExperience within management consulting, corporate strategy, financial services, wealth management, banking, or capital marketsFamiliarity with financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and investment conceptsExperience presenting directly to executive leadership teamsExperience mentoring, coaching, or reviewing the work of othersKnowledge of operating model design, growth strategy, market assessments, or organizational transformation initiativesJob SummaryRequisition ID: 2026-124563Posted Date: 1 month ago(8/5/2026 3:27 PM)Category: Data, Analytics, Business Insights & StrategySalary Range: USD $95,000.00 - $145,000.00 / YearApplication deadline: 9/10/2026Position Type: Full time
