River City Transport is hiring full-time CDL A OTR Dry Van Drivers Nationwide. River City Transport is a family owned and operated asset-based provider based out of Peosta, Iowa. Average weekly pay range: $1,450 - $1,900 50 - 58 CPM based on experience and driving record

Average weekly miles: 3,000+

All miles paid, loaded & unloaded

Additional Pay: Breakdown Pay: $150 per day if no replacement unit is available

Layover Pay: $150

Detention Pay: $25 per hour after 2 free hours

Extra holiday pay: $150 incentive for driving on a holiday (8 holidays per year)

Clean level 1 inspection report: $100

Bonuses: Referral bonus: $1,500 paid in increments over 1 year

Quarterly Safety Bonus: $250 - $1,000 Safe driving (no accidents or infractions)

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

Home time: 1 day home for each week on the road

Schedule: On the road 4 - 6+ weeks at a time

Route: OTR 48 states

Level of Touch: 100% No-touch freight, some drop & hook

Equipment:

2 Freightliner & International Sleeper Trucks

All trucks are automatic

Amenities: Refrigerators, XM radio, new mattresses, heated & cooled seats

Governed Speed: 73 MPH

Outward cameras, event triggered

ELD equipped using Samsara system xywuqvp

Qualifications:

Must be at least 23 years of age

Must have CDL A license

Must have a minimum of 2 year verifiable commercial tractor-trailer driving experience

Must have or be willing to obtain hazmat endorsement River City will provide hazmat training & pay to obtain the endorsement

No DUIs or felony driving convictions in the last 5 years

No major violations in the last 3 years

No more than 3 minor violations in the last 3 years

Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations

Must be able to pass a background check and required pre-employment drug screen
