Job Summary And Qualifications Performs designated duties related to planning, coordinating and delivery of respiratory care and other patient care services to ensure optimum patient care in a safe environment. Assists the respiratory care practitioner when needed. What you will do in this role: Proficient in all respiratory procedures and equipment that applies to patient of all ages. Proficient in clinical documentation. Excellent problem solving and innovative skills. Demonstrate professional practice and conduct at all times. Excellent communication skills with customers and healtHCA Houston Healthcare Northwest team. Participates in Departmental Performance Improvement program as appropriate. Qualifications you will need: Completion of a two-year Associate of Science respiratory care program or Equivalent. Must be eligible for credentials as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRTT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care. American Red Cross or American Heart Association (BLS OR BCLS, and ALS OR ACLS) Course Completion and Certification. CRT, Current license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the Texas Department of Health. One year of clinical practice in respiratory care in an acute care hospital setting.
