Youth Justice Advanced Case Manager - Reservoir

Ongoing full-time role based in Reservoir earning $97,429 to $109,593 per year, plus superannuationSupport vulnerable young people in the community through skilled and thoughtful case management, backed by a strong leadership teamHelp promote opportunities for accountability and rehabilitation that contributes to the reduction of crime in the communityWhat you will doAs youth justice advanced case manager, you will supervise and coordinate services for high-risk young people with complex needs on court orders.The role requires high standards of case management practice, with particular experience in effectively coordinating the delivery of rehabilitative interventions for young people with complex needs at high risk of offending in the community.You will:Lead day-to-day statutory supervision and case management of young people with complex needsSupport clients by providing holistic support to increase young people's opportunities of enhanced quality of life and community inclusionImplement and review client service plans, programs and servicesLiaise with agencies such as courts, policy, mental health services and other internal and external stakeholdersPrepare clear and accurate reports, briefs and correspondence and maintenance of prescribed registersImplement strategies that address offending behaviour and encourage young people to comply with statutory ordersAbout youYou should hold a relevant qualification in social work, youth work, psychology, human services, criminology or criminal justice. Demonstrated case management work experience in a related field is also desirable. You will also need a full driver's licence and maintain a current Working with Children Check.You should also have:Strong understanding of case management and case work principles, including the application of assessment frameworks and interventions tailored to the needs of young people.Knowledge and understanding of the youth justice system, including the principles and philosophy underpinning relevant legislation, polices and guidelinesSound understanding of court practices and procedures.strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and interacting with stakeholdersTo learn even more about what we look for in new youth justice advanced case managers, please read the position description or contact:Brooke Nam at View email address on click.appcast.io to expect in our application process.Stage 1: Application screening - we will carefully review your application documents on a rolling basis.
