Sales Lead Generation Analyst
Position Type: Full time Compensation: $52,200.00 - $69,000.00 per year Location: Broadway Plaza - 15 1st Street, Rochester, MN 55902 Schedule: The general schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm *Schedules may change based on business needs. May include holidays and alternate workdays or hours as needed.
About the Job
The Lead Generation Analyst is responsible for identifying, researching, qualifying, and maintaining prospective customer leads to support business development and sales objectives. This entry-level role utilizes various research methods, outreach channels, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools to build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects. The analyst gathers and verifies customer information, documents interactions, and provides actionable insights that support sales growth and customer acquisition efforts.
What you'll be doing:
- Research, identify, and qualify prospective customers through various lead generation channels.
- Conduct outreach activities to gather information, assess customer needs, and determine sales potential.
- Verify and validate lead data to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Maintain and update customer and prospect information within CRM systems.
- Document customer interactions, feedback, and key business intelligence to support sales activities.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Assist in executing lead generation campaigns and prospecting initiatives.
- Monitor lead activity and provide regular updates on lead status and conversion progress.
- Support trade shows, networking events, promotional activities, and other business development initiatives as assigned.
- Follow established processes and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance with company standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not supervise any employees. May also provide cross-training for staff. Travel: This position could require minimal travel, up to 5% of the time.
About You
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in lead generation, sales support, customer service, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems, preferred.
- Exposure to business development, prospecting, or customer acquisition activities, preferred.

- Communication and Outreach Effectively engages prospects through professional verbal and written communication to gather information, build relationships, and support lead conversion efforts.
Work Environment:
- Work is typically performed in an office or remote office environment.
- Frequent use of computers, telephones, and other standard office equipment.
- May require occasional attendance at trade shows, networking events, customer meetings, or promotional activities.
- Work is performed under close supervision with clearly defined processes and procedures.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, virtually, and by telephone.
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 15 pounds on an occasional basis.
