Associate IT Technologist - Boulder, CO

Overview Associate IT Technologist for the Boulder, Colorado manufacturing site. The role requires onsite presence 4–5 days a week and 10% travel to collaborate across the campus model (Boulder, Louisville, Parker). Relocation assistance is not available. Responsibilities Develop, document, and configure system specifications that conform to defined architecture standards, address business requirements, and processes. Plan system and development deployment, ensuring hardware and software compliance and security standards. Evaluate the interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and overall system characteristics. Establish and document system design, parameters, and formats; ensure hardware and software functionality, performance, and compatibility. Identify system functionality or performance deficiencies, execute changes, and test functionality to correct deficiencies and maintain effective data handling and integrity. Document testing and maintenance of system updates, modifications, and configurations. Act as liaison with key technology vendor technologists or other business functions. Strategically design technology solutions to meet company and customer needs. Leverage platform process expertise to assess whether existing standard platform functionality solves a business problem or requires customization. Gather and prioritize integration requirements. Test product quality and performance to solve problems. Perform basic maintenance and performance optimization in primary operating systems. Use computational thinking to define technological solutions to real‑world problems. Design technology that offers optimal user experience and broad accessibility. Document detailed technical system specifications based on business requirements. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma (or equivalent) and 0+ years of experience. Preferred Qualifications Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with ability to support team initiatives and collaborate effectively. Good communication skills with team members, stakeholders, and vendors. Results‑oriented, supporting project timelines, deliverables, and objectives. Ability to work collaboratively with employees, leaders, clients, and vendors. Foundational understanding of business processes and organizational operations. Basic understanding of project finance or budgeting processes. Foundational financial awareness related to project activities. Experience supporting stakeholder communications or coordination. Exposure to IT support in a manufacturing environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with project management concepts and tools. Understanding of common project management methodologies. Ability to build working relationships across business functions. Experience assisting with requirements gathering and scope tracking.
