Required Skills:

• Active CRNA certification and valid state license (compact license accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiac anesthesia or cardiothoracic surgery
• Proficiency in cardiac procedures such as CABGs, valve repairs, aortic root surgeries, pericardial windows, lung surgeries, laser lead removals, and rib platings
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia protocols, airway management, and patient monitoring
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work a consistent schedule Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday, with 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:00)
• Willingness to work in a Level III trauma hospital setting and participate in call shifts as required

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with ECMO management or small ECMO programs
• Experience working with Epic EMR system
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and PALS

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Graduate-level education in anesthesia or related healthcare field
• At least 1 year of recent cardiac anesthesia experience in a hospital setting

Other Requirements:

• Ability to obtain state licensure within 60-90 days of hire
• Availability to work every week with no part-time options
• Flexibility to participate in evening and weekend call shifts (minimal call frequency)
• Willingness to relocate or travel within a 50-mile radius (local candidates not considered)
