WOUND CARE TECHNICIAN

WOUND CARE TECHNICIAN – Full time
A wound care technician supports doctors and nursesby cleaning wounds, changing dressings, and tracking patient healing under the directguidance of licensed nurses or physicians.
Key responsibilities:
- Wound Care : Clean wounds and applyprescribed dressings or bandages.
- Patient Monitoring : Record vital signs,take wound photos, and collect cultures.
- Documentation : Log healing progress andtreatment notes in electronic medical records.
- Assistance: Turning, prepping , educatingpatients in conjunction with the primary Wound Care Nurse
Qualifications:
- Education : High school diploma or GEDequivalent.
- Certifications : CNA (Certified NursingAssistant), MA (Medical Assistant), or EMT, plus CPR.
