This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule / Shift

Day shift with varied start times. Monday to Friday with one weekend shift per month.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Inpatient Physical Therapist to provide care for semi-complex patients with a variety of orthopedic and internal injuries. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with orthopedics and joint replacement post-operative surgery, along with experience in treating a diverse range of diagnoses, including neurosurgical, neurological, cardiovascular, vestibular, general surgery, and medically complex patients. A primary focus will be on adult and geriatric patient care in an acute inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapy interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes using EPIC EMR.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid Ohio Physical Therapist license and registry (license must not be in process).
• Minimum of 2 years' acute care experience is preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred.
