Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring a compact or MD RN license, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications, and prior travel experience. Requirements Active compact RN license or MD RN license required Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS CPI certification preferred Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience within the last 7 years required Previous travel nursing assignment required for consideration Two supervisory references required, including one from most recent assignment, supporting at least 2 years of experience within the last 3 years Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred Responsibilities Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/IMC of a hospital setting 13-week assignment Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30 Required to work every other 3rd weekend Cares for cardiac telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown patient population Utilizes cardiac monitoring equipment and performs dysrhythmia interpretation and management Provides respiratory support including High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) and nasal cannula Provide direct patient care including isolation precautions/PPE and wound care/wound vac management as needed Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a lower pay rate No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment; maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract Previous employees must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler Facility-specific compliance modules must be completed within one week of contract signing Labs and drug screening appointments must be completed within 48 hours of signing Manager interviews are not guaranteed for this position Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-741488 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
