About Planning Pod

Planning Pod is the operating system for the events industry. More than 1,200 event venues and planners run their bookings, clients, contracts, payments, and day-to-day operations on our platform. We have a proven product, a loyal customer base, and a profitable business.

We are now launching an AI-native version of Planning Pod, designed from the ground up around what large language models make possible. Backed by our own cash flow and new investors, we have the speed and ambition of a startup paired with an existing customer base, deep domain knowledge, and the runway to build the right product.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team and drive our sales growth. In this role, you will actively engage with customers, build lasting relationships, and promote our software and services. Your enthusiasm, communication skills, and ability to understand customer needs will be key to success. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales expertise while contributing to a vibrant team environment.

As a sales representative you will manage the full inbound sales cycle from first demo to closed deal. Our inbound demand is healthy and growing, you can expect a busy calendar from day one.

What you'd own

• Run product demos for inbound event venue business leads.

• Own the deal from demo through close, including the follow-up.

• Keep your pipeline accurate and up to date in the CRM.

What we're looking for

• Driven, high-energy, positive, and optimistic.

• 2–4 years of sales experience in SaaS or related SMB technology.

• Ability to learn the product in depth and run successful product demos.

• A track record of hitting sales targets.

• Events, hospitality or venue-industry experience.

• Based in Raleigh, NC.

Compensation

• Base salary: $55,000

• OTE: $80,000

• Commission: Tiered % of new ARR

• No cap, no quota
