Adult Protection Caseworker

Position Summary Provides intake and/or ongoing professional casework services to include 24‑hour scheduled on‑call responsibilities (including weekends and holidays) in rotation with other casework staff. Pay Rate The hourly range is $27.18 to $30.94 depending on experience, plus partial benefits. Employment beyond the current grant period is dependent on funding availability. County pays monthly on the last weekday of the month. Must complete ICS 100 and CSC 700 within the first year of employment. Qualifications / Education Bachelor’s degree in an accredited college or university with an equivalent of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours in human behavioral sciences or health care related courses, such as social work, sociology, psychology, psychiatry, gerontology, nursing, special education, family intervention techniques, diagnostic measures, therapeutic techniques, guidance and counseling, criminal justice, or other human behavioral sciences, or a medical field relevant to the APS program and/or at‑risk adults. Successful completion and certification by the Colorado Department of Human Services.
