QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Valid New Jersey School Physical Therapist Certificate/Endorsement issued by the
New Jersey Department of Education
2. Must demonstrate knowledge, interest and aptitude for assigned responsibilities as it
relates to the field of physical therapy
3. Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
4. Proven ability to work successfully with students, staff, parents and community
5. Evidence of successful physical therapy experience working with children in school
setting, preferred
5. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal
resident alien status
6. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find
appropriate and acceptable

JOB GOAL:
To support the district's instructional program by developing compensatory strategies for gross motor deficits and physical disabilities that interfere with the students' ability to attain the curriculum goals and derive full benefits established by the Board of Education and with the resources provided by it.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

1. Salary will be prorated (based on part-time equivalent) of WTEA Teacher Guide, Step 1, provided below. Salary may be negotiable based on experience.

Step 1 BA: $61,025, Step 1 BA + 30: $63,577, Step 1 MA: $64,852, etc.
