Come work for Caring Hospice and experience what it is like to work for a company that puts its employees first!The Hospice Aide works under direct supervision of a registered nurse, and as a member of the interdisciplinary team, providing personal care for hospice patients and assisting with activities of daily living.Responsibilities:Carry out assigned tasks on patient assignments and follow Home Health Aide care plans.Perform delegated tasks as instructed by the RN.Bathe patients, assist with showers and partial baths as appropriate.Help patients maintain personal hygiene and assist with all aspects of activities of daily living.Report changes in patient conditions to supervising RN.Qualifications:Completion of approved C.N.A training program.Certification as a C.N.A in MA.Minimum of 1 year of experience in a home health or hospice setting.Minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility).A compassionate attitude toward the care of the sick; the ability to read, write and carry out directions, maturity; and the ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.Must have and maintain a reliable automobile, valid driver's license, and the minimums state required liability auto insurance.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offTravel reimbursementMedical Specialty: Hospice & Palliative MedicineLicense/Certification: C.N.A (Required)Work Location: On the road
