Construction Manager

job summary:
Onsite Construction Manager needed for large-scale power generation construction project. Requires a professional with 8+ years of experience in industrial construction (with at least 3 years in a supervisory role), and demonstrated skills in project management.

responsibilities:

• Provides onsite management for large-scale power generation construction projects, focusing on implementation.
• Responsible for tracking project schedule and reporting status to management and customers.
• Manages field personnel, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to specifications, codes, and safe work methods.
• Manages safety programs, monitors safety performance, and investigates incidents with the safety department's help.
• Ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed and promotes a strong safety culture.
• Communicates project progress to stakeholders regarding safety, production, risk, schedule, finance, and quality.
• Acts as a liaison between the company and external contractors, equipment manufacturers, local government, and the community.
• Participates in contractor evaluation and selection.
• Provides input on equipment selection, project design specifications, and develops project schedules and cost estimates.
