Job Title: Perfusionist

Location: Greenville, SC
Job Type: Travel Contract
Schedule: 5x8-Hour Shifts (Shift Times Vary Based on Department Needs)

We are seeking an experienced Perfusionist for a travel contract opportunity supporting a high-acuity cardiovascular surgical program. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ECMO, cardiopulmonary bypass, emergent cardiac surgeries, and both adult and pediatric cardiac cases.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) equipment during cardiac procedures
• Provide perfusion support for adult, pediatric, and neonatal cardiac surgeries
• Manage ECMO initiation, monitoring, cannulation support, and transport activities
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and CVOR teams during complex cardiac procedures
• Respond effectively during emergent cardiac and trauma cases
• Monitor patient physiological parameters and ensure optimal perfusion support
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation within the EMR system
• Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of perfusion equipment
• Follow all patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of Perfusion experience
• Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP/ABCP) required
• Current BLS and ACLS Certifications required
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel experience required (First-time travelers will not be considered)

Must-Have Skills:

• ECMO management, cannulation, and transport
• Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal cardiac cases
• Cardiopulmonary Bypass (CPB)
• Emergent cardiac surgery experience
• CVOR, Pediatric CVOR, General OR, and Level 1 Trauma experience
