Accounting Manager - Real Estate

Our client, a highly reputable NYC real estate investment firm, is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee property accounting duties for a portfolio of retail, office and multifamily properties. The company offers great benefits and a friendly, collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of Senior Property Accountants, review key reconciliations, and coordinate data flow between cross-functional business units.
- Review financial statements as well as AR/AP.
- Manage expense reconciliations, track aging ledgers, and deliver consolidated reports to leadership.
- Review and distribute monthly partner packages, credit facility compliance metrics, and executive internal financial files.
- Oversee contract onboarding inputs, regular service reconciliation processes, and client escrow accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;
CPA is a plus. - Approximately 8+ years of accounting experience.
- Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in a fast-paced, transaction-heavy environment scaling corporate systems.
- Proficiency in Yardi, MRI or a similar software.
