As a key member of our Tax Team, the Reviewer will utilize his/her technical skills and educational background and apply expertise on avariety of any of the following: corporations, pass through entities, individuals, and trust returns for clients of the Firm. This critical role in our growing Center practice includes reviewing individual and trust returns, working with clients and staff to resolve open items and questions and performing technical tax work.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Providence, RI Andover, MA or Boston, MA Required Years of Experience: 8 or more years Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, MST preferred Required Licensure: Active CPA license, Enrolled Agent (EA) credential, or JD with an active license required Travel: Occasional travel to other New England based KLR offices Relocation : No Job Industry: Public Accounting Department: Tax Hours : Minimum of 24 per week January through April 2027

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide direction and feedback to staff on engagement deliverables (such as tax returns, work papers, etc.); complete technical reviews as a member of the final engagement review team to ensure quality control standards are met. Demonstrate proficient technical skills for handling client responsibilities and communication. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Master's degree in Taxation or related field preferred Active CPA license, Enrolled Agent (EA) credential, or JD with a valid law license required Current/valid PTIN account 8+ years of technical tax experience in public accounting or related field, 3+ years in a managerial role Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally Demonstrated supervisory ability, strong operational and project management skills Proficient use of applicable technology and related tax software We are looking for candidates to work seasonal hours of at least 24 hours per week between January and April, utilizing a flexible work arrangement.
