Builds pallets for stocking with cases of product. Follows safety procedures while operating powered equipment throughout the warehouse./ph3Job Description/h3pPrimary Job Duties Responsibilities/pulliAssists the distribution department with the overseeing of incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and packages./liliInspects warehouse equipment and machinery to pinpoint unsafe conditions for accident prevention./liliLoads and unloads pallets using heavy operating machinery, such as forklifts and/or overhead cranes./liliMaintains standard operating procedures throughout the warehousing department to meet safety and regulatory compliance./liliCommunicates effectively with supporting departments and distribution facilities to ensure timely and accuracy in customer order fulfillment./liliCompiles educational materials, training, and presentations to instruct staff members on health and safety matters within the distribution department./liliMonitors inventory levels in the distribution department and processes stock transfer requests and purchase orders to ensure materials are ordered in a timely and cost-effective manner./liliObserves the condition of the distribution facility and makes notations to share with leadership for improvement recommendations./liliCollects statistical data on distribution operation times and develops a pragmatic approach to optimize processes./li/ulh3Education/h3pHigh school diploma or equivalent required./ph3Prior Relevant Work Experience/h3p0-1 year/ph3Essential Qualifications/h3pBasic awareness of problem solving and decision making skills/ppAnticipated Weekly Hours/pp40/ppTime Type/ppFull time/ppPay Range/ppThe typical pay range for this role is:/pp$17.00 - $28.46/ppThis pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
