Job Summary
The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to work at a healthcare facility located in Napa, California. This position involves managing patient recovery after anesthesia, monitoring vital signs, and providing essential post-operative care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts with 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 07/27/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid California nursing license; 2 years of experience in PACU or Post Anesthesia Care Unit; certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); experience with End-Tidal Carbon Dioxide (EtCO2) monitoring, airway assessment, and management of post-anesthesia recovery procedures
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic charting system; prior PACU or Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience of 2 years; ability to work independently and as part of interdisciplinary teams
• Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to work during major holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year; may be required to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals; references covering at least 1 year (or 6 months for CNAs) are required from within the last 3 years; all required certifications and documentation must be submitted at time of application
