Responsibilities Design and deploy a comprehensive quality management system that streamlines shop-floor operations and enhances accountability. Lead root-cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to resolve complex manufacturing challenges and prevent recurrence. Establish rigorous inspection protocols and quality gates to ensure high-precision output across fabrication and assembly. Manage nonconforming materials and product release processes to maintain strict adherence to engineering specifications. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to integrate quality standards into every stage of the product lifecycle. Develop actionable quality metrics to track performance trends and provide data-driven insights to senior management. Train and mentor staff on problem-solving methodologies to foster a company-wide culture of quality ownership. Required Skills Proven experience in manufacturing quality leadership or systems development. Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, tolerances, and technical specifications. Strong expertise in root-cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) frameworks. Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead change on the plant floor. Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with fabrication, welding, or heavy industrial machinery quality control. Practical knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEA, or APQP methodologies. Experience in supplier quality management and incoming material inspection. Technical education or professional certifications in quality management or related engineering fields. #J-18808-Ljbffr
