Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: 40 hours per week
Duration: Minimum 6-month contract (may be extended)
Weekends/Holidays: Not required

Job Summary
The Physician provides primary medical care, evaluates and treats patients, and collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care. The role includes clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and documentation using an electronic health record system.

Key Responsibilities
•    Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff to provide patient care using nationally recognized treatment standards.
•    Document patient care activities using an electronic health record (EHR) system.
•    Conduct physical examinations and prepare medical evaluations and reports.
•    Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
•    Manage and prescribe medications.
•    Complete reclassifications and clinical reviews as required.
•    Refer patients to specialized healthcare providers when needed.
•    Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities and peer reviews.
•    Engage in collaborative care agreements when required.
•    Attend professional meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions to support comprehensive patient care.
Patient Volume: Approximately 2.5 patients per hour

Additional Clinical Duties
•    Provide routine and emergency medical care for patients, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
•    Administer vaccinations and preventive care as appropriate.
•    Perform routine physical examinations to determine medical conditions or suitability for services.
•    Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans.
•    Prepare admission, discharge, and medical evaluation reports.
•    Provide clinical guidance to nursing, technical, and support staff.

Required Qualifications
•    Doctoral Degree (MD or DO) in Medicine
•    Valid State Medical License
•    Board Certified or Board Eligible in one of the following:
o    Internal Medicine
o    Family Medicine
o    Emergency Medicine
•    Experience in Primary Care
